conference? See one updated point here.
- A poster presentation event of global climate change themed will be held during the conference. Only the existing participants of the conference that owns the eligibility to display its project description poster.
- Each paper will be assigned in a 0,9 meter wide x 2 meters high board, on which display materials may be mounted with adhesive tape.
- Prepare a title, names, affiliation/contacting information of authors in eye-catching lettering to gain interest of the audience for building long term network with your team.
- Detailed information should be described in the abstract menu. One poster can represent a shared project activity description of two or more presenting participant, but it must state one contacting person/presenter.
- In general, visual presentation, diagrams, concise tables and photographs are more effective means than extensive text.
- Any text should be clearly readable from at least 1,5 meters.
- If possible, prepare reprints of your draft paper available for distribution to interested audience.
- Topic should be conveyable with SEA-EU-NET background in endorsing EU's FP7 (view more in SEA-EU NET's site) and take focus to align with the conference theme of "climate change mitigation and adaptation - strengthening SEA-EU S&T collaboration to find common solutions".
- Poster abstract must be submitted to the organizing committee [email: sea-eu-net@ristek.go.id] by at least 23 October 2009. If a presenter is not pre-registered by the deadline date, his/her abstract will not be included in the programme book.
- The organizing committee will not take shared-responsibility for printing the materials, hence every presenter are subjected to bring their own display document.

Noting to the limitation of the poster area,
the organizing committee will assign its
provided-boards area, based on: - Time of acceptance of poster objective description.
- Information of partaking in the poster session as declared in the registration form. If the presenter choose not to make prior transmittal of the poster's objective text [the list can be seen here], the organizing committee will retain all the rights to make further decision upon the supposedly-presented displaying material.

The “Poster Session” avails the opportunity for you to publicise your policy work or science research in the subject themes of food, energy, and health. In the coming Bogor Conference, SEA-EU-NET consortium aims to accommodate pleasing ambient for participants to present visual and text information, therefore enhancing chances to enrich knowledge of ASEAN and EU Countries audiences of networking potentials within the presenting audience. In all, the objective is to avail everybody to receive greater possibility to expand networks of cooperation through direct communications. |

Each board poster has a dimension of 0,9 meter (wide) and 2 meters (high - max). The presenter gains all the freedom to make required design that can be contained in the board.

The presenter can only have one displaying side at time (one side of the board for one presenter).
About You: To Let The Audience Learn About You
Your participating in the poster session means that allowing bi-regional audience to uncover, validate the importance of your works. From background to detailed information, we essentially set space for you to present and discuss your team’s projects with prospective partners in Food, Energy, Health sciences research domain or S&T public policy.
One that prepares itself to expand the current scope of works should easily view the attending of 160 participants from EU and SEA Countries as significant factor in assuring the success in network expansion to arise. Poster sessions ran in parallel to other sessions there and shall take place throughout the two days of the event. SEA-EU-NET consortium members themselves will also take part in the posters sessions, in order to give further information about its activities – that designed as the materialisation of the 7th Framework Programme – as well as other related area in the policymaking domain.
How to Join?
Treating policy in S&T as in one bond to the in-field research works, SEA-EU-NET opens participants of the following fields to draw respective expansive potentials in the poster session:

Executives from governmental institutions in S&T policy sectors;

Scientists working in the fields of Health, Food Security, and Renewable Energy;

Representatives of European and international governments, key international organisations and NGO’s;

Most important, you must join the conference, either as attending participant or speaker in the Bogor Conference event;

After you fill all required areas in the form, the organizing committee then will establish further communication through electronic mail with you. This is principally only for the purpose of collecting further information of your poster’s content, such as:

Textual drafts of the content of the poster, preferably in the “paper abstract” writing format (maximum words used approximately 100 words);

Name and address of contact persons.
The description you supply will then be placed within the Conference website on its coming updates. The posting is chiefly to draw intention of the audience over the information they will gain by in-better-depths manner through the upcoming posters sessions. This again signifies our goal to build lively discussions among participants of the conference.
